A rare, 5-carat pink diamond to be auctioned by Christie’s in Hong Kong on December 1 is expected to fetch between – million, near world record prices. The stone’s “vivid pink” is considered near perfect and the Christie’s jewelry head, Vicky Shek has touted it as one of the best colored stones to appear in recent years. I received this necklace as a birthday gift and I had picked it out. There is no way they should price $300.00 for this pendant. At $99.00 it is overpriced. The diamonds if they are there maybe can be seen with a magnifying glass. The chain is very, very, very, thin. I will put the pendant on another chain. I like the fact it has both silver and gold on it and can wear any other type of jewelry with it and I love palm trees. It is not a wow piece and makes a small statement.

Bought this as a gift and it is okay. Definitely not worth more then the $85 I paid for it. Chain is extremely fine, am sure it will break easily. Diamonds are very hard to find. Cute but not great.
