I love Emerald cut rings…like everyone said it just means the shape of the diamond. My mothers is an emerald cut…always loved it. Mine it a princess (square) which I like too.
To be sure it is real if you are buying it other than first hand from a jewlery…like it you find it at an estate sale or something – have the diamond tested.
