Question by Micaela: How much would a pair of 1 carat diamond earrings be worth?
I found a pair of diamond earrings tucked away in the back of the medicine cabinet last night. I’ve never seen my mother wear them, and it strikes me as odd that she would have diamonds to begin with, since we don’t have much money and neither did her family. I presume they’re real, as they were well protected and hidden somewhere they wouldn’t easily be found.
Sorry, I meant 2 carat total. 1 carat each.

That’s going to depend on the quality of the diamonds. If you mean they are one carat total (both earrings, .5 carat each)… depending on the quality of the diamonds you’re talking a couple hundred bucks anywhere up to a few thousand.
